Dragon Flame BBQ has become widely known for its bold take on the traditional Sunday roast.
Each week we serve slow-smoked meats cooked over live fire, paired with crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, seasonal vegetables and rich gravy.
It’s everything you love about a classic Sunday roast, with the unmistakable flavour of Dragon Flame BBQ.
Who We Are
The Dragon Flame started in 2021, built on a simple idea: cook everything over real fire, the way it should be done.
Georgi has been cooking over fire since childhood. He started his career as a chef in 2008, working across London restaurants before deciding to share his passion properly. His wife and business partner, Diotima, began her own chef career in 2012, and went on to work as a head butcher and grill chef in an open-fire kitchen in Soho.
Together, they created The Dragon Flame BBQ, a husband-and-wife team built on quality, creativity and consistency.
This Is How We Do It
We smoke our meats using natural oak logs and oak whiskey barrel. The process takes time, skill and patience – no two pieces of meat are ever the same.
Every cut is butchered in-house and treated with care. We use our own brine recipes, original rubs and spices, drawing on South American, Texas and Asian flavours. The result is that deep, charred, smoky flavour that keeps people coming back.
Our meat is sourced from Taste Tradition, a high-quality supplier working with rare-breed cattle and pig farmers in North Yorkshire. Their dry-aged products are matured in a room lined with Himalayan rock salt, which draws out moisture and lets the muscle relax – giving you meat that is more tender and more flavourful.
